Photo ID ski pass mandatory for access to trails of Nelson Nordic Ski Club

Online registration is NOT available this season and will be offered for 2016/17 season.
NEW THIS YEAR- Major Credit Cards accepted at time of membership/program registration
as well as Cash or Cheque.
- Complete Membership Application Form
- Complete a Waiver 1/person eg: 2 applicants = 2 waivers etc.
- Photos for ski passes will be taken at time of purchase
- If purchasing memberships for family members that are not present during purchase, signed waivers for all family members must be presented at time of purchase to validate membership….their photo will be taken at a later date.
Returning Members from previous season:
- Membership Application not necessary. Member info already in database-please inform of address or email change at time of purchase.
- Complete a Waiver 1/person eg: 2 applicants=2 waivers etc.
- Present photo ID ski pass from previous year to validate for current season
If purchasing memberships for family members that are absent, signed waivers for all family members must be presented at time of purchase.
Photo ID ski pass MUST be submitted for validation for current season. If lost/damaged a $5.00 replacement fee will be charged at time of membership purchase.
Incomplete Memberships can be refused..
Nelson Nordic Ski Club requires a Nordic ski coach
to work with the School Outreach program (students 5-13 years old)
from January to mid-March 2016.

Well, it’s that time of year again. Need some volunteer hours to benefit for a discount on the upcoming ski season?
Plenty of projects to complete before the snow flies….confused about the two time slots?? I thought we would have two different starting times to reduce “confusion” in the morning. Listed below are the projects, in order of priority. Please take a moment to view these and note which time to arrive for instruction.
A hot lunch will be served, so please RSVP in order to have ample food available.
1- Clearwater A Frame- firewood to be delivered, brushing foliage away from the sides of the A Frame, clean out wood stove, the roof of the outhouse swept off. 9:00 a.m start time
2- Busk kiosk –painting of soffits, replacement of “base” where kiosk is placed, bridges to be cleaned off of debris 9:30 a.m. start time
3- Painting- Apex-walls and ceiling of interior of warming hut-clean windows of warming hut 9:30 a.m.
4- Firewood- fill wood shed at Apex-split several rounds at Apex. 9:30 a.m. start time
5- Euphrates shelter- piles of wood and debris around shelter to be burnt, insulating interior to be completed 9:00 a.m. start time
6- Washing of rubber mats used in kids area 9:00 a.m start time
7- Enchanted Forest Trail- inspect lights-remove debris/falling trees-protective coating to be sprayed on “kites” that will be installed in forest trail..
8- Fencing- to be built between warming hut @ Apex and wood shed 9:30 a.m. start
Please inform me of what project you like to be involved in.
Most materials needed for these projects will be on site.
